Bluewater Tamarind Yacht

About the Yacht

Bluewater Tamarind is a classic sailing yacht based on the famous Spray design by Bruce Roberts. This design is a tribute to the boat that legendary sailor Joshua Slocum used to sail around the world alone for the first time in 1895.

The yacht was made in the 1980s, but it has the same timeless style as classic sailing ships. The wooden details, balanced lines, and steady sailing all make for a maritime experience that feels real, calm, and connected to the long history of sailing.

The Sailing Experience

A journey aboard Bluewater Tamarind is designed to be calm and slow. The focus is not speed, but the quiet pleasure of sailing and seeing the island from the water. Here are the moments you can enjoy on board:

Boracay from the Water

From the sea, Boracay looks very different. The wind blows softly through the sails as the beaches stretch out quietly along the island.

As the day comes to an end, the sky changes color, and the island’s famous sunset becomes the best part of the trip. From the deck of Bluewater Tamarind, it unfolds slowly and beautifully across the wide open sky.

Beyond Boracay

For guests who wish to continue the journey, Bluewater Tamarind can also sail to nearby Carabao Island, a quieter island just across the water.

Guests can visit Carabao Island Beach Camp, a laid-back beachfront stay on Lanas Beach, and the Carabao Island Observatory and Think Tank, which has the biggest telescope in the Philippines and is a place for observation and thoughtful exchange.

Private Charter

Bluewater Tamarind can be chartered for a more personal sailing experience. It’s great for small get-togethers, special events, or a laid-back afternoon sailing around the island.

Charters can be tailored to the occasion, from sunset gatherings and intimate celebrations to relaxed day sails with friends and family. Sailing moves at a gentle rhythm, letting you take in the sea, the breeze, and Boracay’s changing views from the water.
